Six Students, two days, six certification received! One happy instructor!
After day 1 every student was all smiles. Sunny, 65 degrees and light winds. It was a beautiful day to practice their on-the-water skills. We worked on starting, engine systems, docking, launching, holding position, slow-medium-high speed slalom, slow-speed reverse slalom and MOB recovery. Every student was all smiles when we disembarked on the first day!
Day 1. Cloudy, high of 60 degrees, strong winds. Not ideal weather for learning but the harbor of the Benicia Marina provided a great shelter to practice our slow-speed handling maneuvers that we hadn't completed yet. We worked on spring line departures, docking, pivot turns, holding position and slow high-speed stops.
